Teens

You just scored the car keys and your first real taste of independence—driving. No doubt that’s cool. But have you thought about the responsibility that just landed squarely on your shoulders? That’s right, as awesome as it may be to cruise in your car, you’ve upped your level of responsibility exponentially. You are now not only responsible for your life, but potentially the lives of everyone in your car and driving around you. So get real behind the wheel. Make the right driving choices such as:

  • Drive sober
  • Avoid distractions
  • Pull over to talk or text
  • Limit passengers
  • Drive primarily in daylight hours
  • Obey the speed limit

And if you still have any doubts about this being the cool thing to do, spend some time on this site learning about the consequences other young drivers faced when they didn’t act responsibly behind the wheel of their car.
