December 1, 2010 - Safe Teen Driver Got the Engines Revving at TRACK
On Sunday, November 7, 50 lucky teens learned and practiced their driving skills on the professional race track at Andersen RacePark in Palmetto, Fla. Led by Bruce Murakami of Safe Teen Driver in conjunction with Winters & Yonker, this one-of-a-kind event called "TRACK"—Teaching Road Awareness & Consequences to Kids was designed to tackle key driving issues with teens and their parents. Activities included challenges that kids had to try and overcome such as driving while texting, driving while impaired and more. There were also vendors and resources for parents and teen drivers as well as door prizes.
The event was so successful that Safe Teen Driver will be hosting it again several times in 2011 starting in February. Keep checking back to this site for more details.
