is key for greater road safety
When presented with a hazardous situation, teenage
drivers are more likely than adults to underestimate
the fail to recognize the seriousness of the situation.
This, of course, makes perfect sense, as young drivers
are less experienced in coping with types of situations.
In order to help teenagers understand road hazards,
parents should work directly with the teen on driving
skills and enroll the teen in an approved driving
program that specifically teaches teens to handle
hazardous or unexpected situations on the road. To
